If you can use a drill,

You can install Pillar Pro™

Most homeowners complete their first setup in about 90 minutes using common tools.

Compatibility

Pillar Pro is designed to work with the most common decks and all types of string lights.

Mounts cleanly to standard deck railing posts — or any structurally sound vertical surface — to create a rigid overhead frame for your lights.

Composite Mounting Bracket

Composite brackets are designed with a 1" offset, to accommodate post caps.

How it works

Each pole mounts securely to your deck and supports one end of the sideways tension created by overhead string lights.

Compression anchors secure the opposite end to a solid surface.

Together, these mounting points carry the load and keep your light runs straight and tensioned—we recommend spans of up to 20' with about 5% sag for the best look and performance.

This drawing represents a typical 10' x 18' deck, with two 20' light runs.

A single box of Pillar Pro includes everything needed for this configuration.

No Deck?
No Problem

Pillar Pro™ mounts to any structurally sound vertical surface — not just deck posts.

In this installation, Pillar Pro is mounted to a fence post, creating a clean, elevated anchor point for string lights over the pool patio.
